Class 1: August 21
Class 2: September 4
Class 3: September 18
Students MUST HAVE previous magic loop experience. Take this class as a follow up to our Beginning Sock class. (It’s also a perfect way to prepare for a Michelle Hunter Knit-along or Mystery sock project!)
During the first class, students learn a special cast on for the toe and begin knitting a simple, classic design for the foot. In the second class, students learn a short row heel technique. The third class covers two bind-off methods.
Supplies needed include: 400-450 yds. fingering-weight yarn in a LIGHT solid color, and a 32″ circular needle size US 1 or US 2. (Tip in choosing yarn: The lighter the color, the easier it is to see your stitches!)
There is no pre-work for this class, but there is homework between classes, so plan accordingly. Please purchase your supplies before coming to the first class.
