Hats are a great introduction to circular knitting and easy to make. This simple ribbed hat is designed to fit many different sizes. You will learn to knit in the round, create jogless stripes, decrease stitches, and weave in ends.
Supplies needed:
- Yarn: Worsted-weight in two colors (one for main and one for contrast color)
- Needles: 16″ circular AND DPNs in size US 7
- One stitch marker
- Tapestry needle
Samples are knit with Encore Worsted. Suggested yarns are Rowan Pure Wool, Madelinetosh Worsted, Berroco Vintage, Malabrigo Worsted, Encore Worsted, or Cascade 220.
