Two 2-hour classes

Saturdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm, on:
Class 1: December 5
Class 2: December 19
This class is brand new, specifically designed for the crocheter looking to improve their skills. Are you tired of knowing only the basic stitches and ready to move on to shaping and more complex patterns? Are you looking to learn more about fibers, gauge, patterns, and chart reading? If so, this is the class for you!
Successful students will have a good grasp on single, double, and half double crochet stitches. New concepts will be learned in class including: yarns and fiber content, the importance of making gauge swatches, increasing and decreasing within a pattern, reading written and charted patterns, and the important resources/tools needed for every crocheter. This class will prepare you for more complex projects and is a great stepping stone to our more advanced crochet class offerings.
Yarn is provided – you need to provide an H (5 mm) hook.
There is no prework for class, but there will be homework between the session, so please plan accordingly.
