Get ready for fall with this stylish poncho which introduces a unique technique to create a stockinette stitch body with a dramatic cabled border, knit-in fringe and a cozy collar that can button up as a cowl.
Beginning Thursday, August 18, our next sweater camp will feature Carole Sunday’s poncho, Potawatami.
Classes are available on-line and in-person and will meet weekly thro0ugh early November. Come see a sample of the completed poncho and select your favorite colorway from the beautiful yarns by Sunday Knits – Eden & Nirvana.
Zoom Classes: Thursdays, 2pm to 4pm
In-person Classes: Thursdays, 6PM to 8PM
Class Fee: $150
Class Supplies:
- Yarn – 10 skeins of Sunday Knits light worsted weight yarn, either Eden or Nirvana
- Needles – Size US #8 circular needle with 32″ – 40″ cable
- Cable or doble pointed needle
- Four 7/8″ buttons
- Knit Kit containing these suggested supplies
- Small pair of scissors
- Medium sized metal curved-ti tapestry needle
- Fix-it Tool or size F, G or H crochet hook
- 10 stitch markers
- Point protectors
- Tape measure
- Row counter
- Needle gauge
- Pen or pencil and paper
