Intro to Knitting – Morning Session

Skill level: Beginner

Learn the basics of knitting from casting on to binding off. In between, you will learn the knit and purl stitches, and how to switch between the two. You will go home with a simple project started so you can practice your new skills.

 

 

 


Saturday, October 14 from 10 – 12 noon
One 2-hour class
Class fee: $35
Skill level: Beginner

Class Supplies:

  • Yarn – One skein of worsted weight yarn – Provided
  • Needles – Size US #7 or #8 circular needle w/24″ cable
  • Knit Kit containing these suggested supplies
    • Small pair of scissors
    • Medium sized metal curved-tip tapestry needle
    • Fix-it Tool or size F, G or H crochet hook
    • Pear-shaped locking stitch markers
    • Point protectors
    • Tape measure
    • Row counter
    • Needle gauge
    • Pen or pencil and paper

About the classes:  It is our policy that unless we specify otherwise, students in our class must purchase their yarn and other class supplies at Knitting Temptations
