Call for Test Knitters

Calling All Knitters!

We need knitters of all stages and gauges! Knitting Temptations and Knit Purl Hunter are looking for knitters to test new yarn, patterns, and classes. Our goal is to have a pool of participants from which to draw so that we might match the knitter’s expertise with the opportunity.

If you are interested in putting your name on our list of available Test Knitters, please send an email to Karen at knit2temptations@gmail.com and include your phone number, skill level (refer to our Class Levels as described on our blog), and what days/times are best for you.

The first opportunity is Corkscrew Mitten in a Day with Michelle Hunter on Friday, May 4, 9:30-4:30 with a lunch break. We need a maximum of 12 students with the following skills:

  • Knit and purl in the round
  • Cabling (helpful, but not required)
  • Never knitted the Corkscrew Mitten pattern before

I am an experienced knitter, but have never done a test knit. I’ve knit mittens, cables, and can knit in the roué with either circa or dps.
