Yann is an elegant striped cowl worked entirely in the round to form a tube, whose ends are grafted together. A beautiful lace panel adds interest and breaks up the casual stripes. The lace panel is knit in mohair which makes it challenging even though it is a simple lace pattern. Olive wood needles recommended in US 3 (3.25mm) for lace portion.
- Recommended Yarn: Ito Rakuda & Ito Sensai or any fingering weight with Kidsilk Haze or Ito Sensai. 330 yd each of 2 colors fingering, 110 yd lace weight mohair.
- Needles: US 4 (3.5mm)) circular 16″ and US 3 (3.25mm) circular 16″ in olivewood
- crochet hook
- stitch markers
- tapestry needle
- second circular needle for kitchener stitch
- waste yarn in fingering weight.
