PARLOR CAT
With paws tucked in and tail to his side, the Parlor Cat by Sara Elizabeth Kellner makes a very prim and proper house guest. Knit in the round, it is one piece from head to tail, and a befitting 10” long and 7” wide. The sample in the shop used Manos del Uruguay Gloria yarn in Oso Pardo and Dunas. You will have enough yarn to make two! Jenny will teach this class in two sessions.
Skills needed: Using double pointed needles, increasing and decreasing
Techniques reviewed/taught: provisional cast-on, wrap & turns, embroidery for face, optional stripes
Supplies:
  • Worsted Weight Yarn – 2 colors, 1 skein each or if not doing stripes, one skein
  • Size 12mm cat eyes
  • Black embroidery thread
  • Knit Kit
Two 2-hour classes:
Thursday, July 11 and July 25, 12:30-2:30pm
