One 2-hour class
Instructor: Meghan Kizer
Skill level: Easy Knit
Adding beads to your knitting is a great way to make a project pop, and this pattern is no exception! In this class, you’ll learn how to add beads with a crochet hook as well as learn a new bind off that is stretchy enough to give this cowl the drape it needs. This pattern uses just over half of most skeins of lace yarn so we’ll also talk about what you can make with the rest of your skein!
- Yarn: 470 yards lace-weight yarn
- Needle: US 8 (6.0mm), 24″ circular
- Crochet hook: Size 14 (0.9mm)
- Two 10gr containers of size 8 seed beads (1 Stop Bead Shop has what you need!)
- 1 stitch marker
Please purchase your supplies prior to class day. There is pre-work for this class.
Cast on 200 stitches. Mark the beginning of the round with the stitch marker and join for knitting in the round.
Knit one round. (If you need help joining in the round, come with the cast on done and we’ll assist from there.)
You may register for classes in person or by calling the shop at 614-734-0618 during regular business hours. We require that you make payment in full when you register and, unless noted otherwise, that you purchase your supplies for our classes at Knitting Temptations.
