One 2-hour class
Instructor: Meghan Kizer
Skill level: Easy Knit
The entrelac technique is used to create a textured diamond pattern. The resulting fabric looks like woven knitted strips, but is actually knitted in one piece. The technique looks more difficult than it is.
This class is suited for knitters comfortable with the casting on, knit and purl stitches. You will learn various decreases and a time-saving technique of knitting BACKWARDS that makes the entrelac technique a snap!
- Yarn: Approximately 440 yards of long-repeat, variegated worsted-weight
- Needle: 24″ circular or straights US 7 or US 8
