  1. Wendy Armstrong / Oct 28 2011

I met a “new” friend last evening and she told me about your shop. Unfortunately I cannot get there due to my work schedule. However she showed me her “shawlette” that she has been knitting. I am interested in obtaining the pattern. Can I get that from you if I also order the yarn from your shop? Oh, by the way, her last name is Taylor, don’t recall the first name, sorry. I hope to hear from you.

    Thank you.

    Wendy Armstrong

I am an experienced knitter, but have never done a test knit. I’ve knit mittens, cables, and can knit in the rouĂ© with either circa or dps.

  5. Courtney / May 5 2012

I bought Alchemy Silk Purse from you before. Now I am checking to see if you have any new colors in stock and just to find out what colors and quantities of this yarn you do presently have in your inventory. I am after TANGERINE, CHICAPOP! and PEWTER. Thanks. Would appreciate call rather than email re: this; (702) 982-5535 or (323) 828-4134 cell.

  7. Karen / Apr 7 2013

Thank you for your inquiry about Michelle Hunter’s Mystery Sock!

Once the classes are completed in mid-April, Michelle will make the complete sock pattern available for sale at Knitting Temptations. Any Knitsch sock yarn left will also be for sale to anyone — not just our Mystery Sock class participants.

Contact us in a couple weeks and we’d be happy to send you the pattern and yarn!

  8. Lois Lahman / Sep 12 2013

I am registered and have my yarn for the sweater. My question is:
What do we need to have ready by the first class? If Michelle has sent out an email I have missed it.
    Thanks,
    Lois

  9. Karen / Sep 13 2013

    HI Lois,

Michelle sent an email with the information for the first class – you were on the list of recipients so you should have received it.

    Hi Cindy,

Yes, the pattern will be for sale after class. I don’t know about video support, but I’d be very surprised if Michelle didn’t have a video to help.

  20. Amy Reardon / Jun 16 2015

    Could a beginner take this?

    Thanks!

  21. Karen / Jun 18 2015

This project is perfect for a “new” knitter who knows how to knit and purl already. A true beginner (i.e. has not learned the basics) should know these basics before starting this project. Thanks for your inquiry!

  24. Annie / Aug 11 2015

i am desperately trying to find a pattern by Ohio resident Margaret Halas, the Lotus Wave Shawl.
Do you have any information on either the pattern or the designer?

    Annie

  25. Laurie Hansen / Oct 20 2015

Do you know of any classes in the Milwaukee area?

  26. Karen / Nov 20 2015

    Laurie,

We do not know of instructors/classes outside of our area. We had a local artist who knew the traditional Sami methods and had materials for our students to use. Good luck in your search.

When do you offer the times to “sit and knit” with friends? I can not see this on the calendar and it was a fun thing to do when I participated in the past.
