Are you ready to go beyond your standard cast on? Would you like to build you knitting knowledge? There is no right or wrong way to cast on. Each cast-on has its own look and characteristics which will make it suitable for some applications but not others. You want the top of you sock to be flexible but you want the edge of a bag to be firm. You will learn a variety of cast-on techniques along with their characteristics. We will be practicing each cast-on and making a sample to keep for further reference.
