Brioche knitting is a unique style of knitting that involves knitting yarn overs with slipped stitches from the prior row. It creates a completely reversible fabric and very eye-catching designs, especially when knit with two colors.
This scarf is an introduction to this style of knitting. We will start your scarf together, practicing the stitches, reviewing how brioche knitting works, and make sure you have all the skills and knowledge you need to finish the rest of your scarf at home.
- Yarn: Two skeins of fingering weight yarn, 1 each in two contrasting colors
- Needles: 24″ circular in size US 6 (4mm)
The shop sample is knit with two colors of Manos del Uruguay Fino.
Please purchase your supplies prior to class day. There is no pre-work for this class.
You may register for classes in person or by calling the shop at (614) 734-0618 during regular business hours. We require that you make payment in full when you register.
