Fee: $81.00 plus supplies
In this 3-part class, you will learn basic techniques of sock construction, including: magic loop, classic heel, left-leaning and right-leaning decreases and kitchener stitch. Each of these skills is applicable to many other knitting projects.
Students must be comfortable casting on stitches, knitting and purling.
- Yarn: approximately 400 yards of fingering-weight. Note on choosing yarn: Sock stitches are small and show up best in LIGHT colors.
- Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) 32″ circular needles
Please purchase your supplies prior to coming to the first class. There is no pre-work for this class, but there is homework between classes, so please plan accordingly.
