Toe-up Socks

Toe-up socks are all the rage! Why toe-up? By starting at the toe, no kitchener stitch is required. Also, no need to fret over yardage since the leg knits from the bottom until the yarn is gone! Join Michelle knitpurlhunter.com as she teaches toe-up socks in 2 class sessions. This class is open to knitters with previous sock and magic loop experience – a perfect follow up to the Beginning Sock Class. During the first class students will learn a special cast on for the toe and begin knitting a simple, classic design for the foot. In the second class, participants learn a short row heel and finishing techniques.
Class fee is $45 for two 2.5 hour sessions, plus supplies (approx. $20-$35). Suggested yarn is a light semi-solid colorway, such as Shibui Sock and needle is a 32” size #1 or #2.
Dates: Tuesdays, August 16 and September 6 from 5:30-8:00 pm
