And great news – just in time for the holidays! Recognizing the extreme need that exists around the world right now, a group of generous Heifer donors will be matching all gifts up to a total of $550,000!
If you would also like to give a personal donation to Heifer International, your gifts can reach out to twice as many people because every contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar while Heifer's Holiday Matching Gift Challenge is underway. Give now while your gift will be matched.

Scrumptious Yarns and Patterns
Lantern Moon was chosen as the US source for Fyberspates Luxury Yarns, created by British designer Jeni Hewlett. Scrumptious Yarn is a beautiful silk and merino-wool blend in a rich, saturated color palette. Milled and dyed in Peru, it is available in five weights and has extensive pattern support with contemporary designs from Europe including those of author and knit designer, Ysolda Teague. She has created six custom Scrumptious colors to accompany six very special accessory patterns.
"Combining silky luxury and crisp stitch definition, Scrumptious has always been one of my go to yarns, especially for special little projects. Colors practically glow with a rich depth so it was a delightful treat for me to put together an exclusive palette and accompanying designs. Pretty little additions to your wardrobe, or gifts that you'll know will be treasured, all of the patterns feature interesting details against a relaxing background." —Ysolda Teague
The yarn, patterns, and pattern booklet will be available at Knitting Temptations in early 2012. Visit Lantern Moon to see a sneak peak of the yarn and the gorgeous colors.

The yarn and patterns are in stock at Knitting Temptations now! Visit the Kauni Yarns web site to see a these one-of-a-kind yarns and colorways. And see the Winter 2011-2012 catalog for a look at the patterns that fully employ these unparalleled attention to color.
Origin´ Yarns and Patterns
Knitting Temptations introduces a new deluxe range of yarns by Bergere de France:
- Mohair – This beautiful fiber creates an aura of softness and gives your projects a lightness and airiness that no other yarn can equal.
- Soie – Long prized for its lusterous beauty as a symbol of prosperity, silk is one of the strongest natural fibers.
- Alpaga – You can almost visualize the newly-shorn tufts of wool in this slubbed yarn. It is dense and soft at the same time and available in velvety shades.
- Cachemire – The word cashmere alone is enough to make you think of luxury and unequaled softness.
